Beyond the Dinner: A Dialogue Iftar
On 11 March 2026, Eire Dialogue hosted a “Dialogue Iftar” at its office on the occasion of Ramadan, bringing together around 80 participants from diverse nationalities, religions, and beliefs. The evening evolved into far more than a shared meal; it became a genuine space of encounter where people connected, engaged in meaningful conversations, and exchanged cultural insights in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The iftar table, in particular, fostered a strong sense of togetherness, where participants not only shared food but also stories, perspectives, and experiences, creating a true spirit of unity and understanding.
As part of the program, a 20-piece “Humanity Cartoon” exhibition—organized by Eire Dialogue—was presented to attendees both before and after the iftar. The artworks featured in the exhibition were selected from prize-winning entries of annual competitions held by Humanity Cartoons. Centered on themes such as humanity, conscience, and universal values, the exhibition offered a reflective and thought-provoking experience. Notably, one visitor was visibly moved while engaging with the artworks, highlighting the emotional depth and impact of the collection.
Following the event, Eire Dialogue received a number of positive feedback emails from participants, many of whom expressed their appreciation for both the exhibition and the overall organization of the evening. These responses underscored the event’s success in fostering dialogue, encouraging cultural exchange, and strengthening a shared sense of humanity among attendees.

In this respect, the “Dialogue Iftar” stood out not only as a well-organized gathering but also as a meaningful reflection of Eire Dialogue’s ongoing commitment to promoting mutual understanding, intercultural engagement, and peaceful coexistence.
